Restorative Care

If you have lost natural teeth or parts of your teeth, restorative care can restore the look and function of your smile. We can create and place crowns - including implant crowns - partials, and bridges. Restorative care is the dental practice of restoring the function of the tooth by replacing missing or damaged tooth structure.

Restorations are either:

Direct (made inside the mouth)

  • Composite fillings

  • Onlay fillings

  • Crowns

We can do onlay and mercury-free composite fillings. These are preferable because mercury has become a major health concern over the years, therefore we use resin composites.
We can also remove and replace old amalgam (silver) fillings, which can expand and crack teeth, leak, and cause decay. Composites are more aesthetically pleasing and just as durable.

Indirect (made outside the mouth)

  • Crowns & implant crowns

  • Veneers

  • Partials and bridges

  • Inlay & Onlay fillings

Our office has a CEREC system, which is capable of creating ceramic restorations, onlays, and crowns in a single visit.
