• Oral Hygiene

Adult teeth are meant to last a life time. To keep them in top shape, it’s crucial to keep up on your dental hygiene. Practice good oral hygiene by brushing your teeth twice a day, flossing daily, replacing your toothbrush every 3-4 months, and by eating a balanced diet. Regular dental visits are a great way to keep your teeth clean and look out for any potential oral health problems. Preventive care is almost always less costly (and painful) than treating a problem once it has developed.

Keeping your mouth healthy is an essential part of an overall health care plan. Our hygienists, working together with Dr. Skladany, provide the best oral health care, expertise, and dental health diagnoses possible to our patients.

Our dental hygienists offer three key services to our patients:

    • Preventive Services – promoting and maintaining good oral health
    • Educational Services – helping patients develop behaviors that promote better oral health and help them understand the importance of practicing these behaviors
    • Therapeutic Services – providing treatments meant to stop disease and maintain healthy tissues in the mouth

Don't forget to schedule regular dental check-ups to keep your smile, and yourself, healthy!
